Continuing our collaboration Brooke and I hit the local town of Royersford for another brief shoot. This time we stopped at a colorful mural that had caught our eye the time out before.
When composing a portrait shot it is best to remember the foreground and background also play a crucial part in the images overall recipe. Having these elements in mind helps you to not get lost in only the subject of the portrait.
I chose to go with 100% natural light for these. The sun was already diffused by cloud cover so we had a nice even spread of light. Also as opposed to our previous shoot I wanted her overall tone to blend with the background so keeping it to one light source contributed nicely to that.
